The Wellbeing Service aims to provide workshops and courses to help people’s mental wellbeing (eg Mindfulness for Self Compassion workshops) and provide routes to positively engage in society (eg Self Esteem and Effective Communication courses).
We will be running the following workshops and courses for the community. They are a mixture of face to face and online via zoom, and are available to adults over 18.

Effective Communication. For people to find out the basics of how to communicate verbally and in writing, and learn techniques for different situations.

Mindfulness for Stress and Anxiety Reduction. For people wanting an understanding of mindfulness, and how it can be used to manage stress and anxiety.

Mindfulness for Self Compassion. For people wanting develop their understanding of mindfulness, and how it can be applied to self compassion for positive mental health.

Everyday Happiness. Provides understanding, tools and habits for better happiness, mental and emotional wellbeing, productivity and life satisfaction.

Makeup for Wellbeing. For people wanting to learn about different types of makeup and skin care methods, and learn to use them to benefit wellbeing and self esteem.

Self Esteem. To understand the nature of self esteem, and learn skills for its development.

Anger Management. For people wanting to understand anger, and be introduced to tools to manage it.

Body Care. An introduction to simple everyday practices (eg washing, using scrubs and oils, breathing, eating and exercise) to keep the body well.
On Thurs 4 Dec, 10.30am-1pm online via zoom
Gratitude for Wellbeing. An introduction to the nature of gratitude and simple practices to improve wellbeing.

Sleep Support. An introduction to good sleep hygiene practices, and how people can adjust their lives for improvements in sleep patterns.
