The Wellbeing Service aims to provide workshops and courses to help people’s mental wellbeing (eg Mindfulness for Self Compassion workshops) and provide routes to positively engage in society (eg Self Esteem and Effective Communication courses).

We will be running the following workshops and courses for the community. They are a mixture of face to face and online via zoom, and are available to adults over 18.

COURSES (6 WEEKS EACH)

Anger Management. For people wanting to understand anger, and be introduced to tools to manage it. 

Starting Mon 2 Feb, 2-4pm @  55 Christchurch Ave, North Finchley N12 0DG

Body Care. An introduction to  simple everyday practices (eg washing, using scrubs and oils, breathing, eating and exercise) to keep the body well.

Effective Communication. For people to find out the basics of how to communication verbally and in writing, and learn techniques for different situations.

Everyday Happiness. Provides understanding, tools and habits for better happiness, mental and emotional wellbeing, productivity and life satisfaction.

Mindfulness for Stress and Anxiety Reduction. For people wanting an understanding of mindfulness, and how it can be used to manage stress and anxiety.

Mindfulness for Self Compassion. For people wanting develop their understanding of mindfulness, and how it can be applied to self compassion for positive mental health.

Personal Development. To consider 5 main areas of life and learn how to make plans for improvements.

Wellbeing Course for Women. (1) To learn about techniques (inc breathwork,  mindfulness and journalling) to promote wellbeing, and develop a personal toolkit.

Gratitude for Wellbeing. An introduction to the nature of gratitude and simple practices to improve wellbeing.

Sowing seeds and Taking Cuttings. (2) An introduction to successful seed sowing and how to take cuttings from a range of herbs.
