The Wellbeing Service aims to provide workshops and courses to help people’s mental wellbeing (eg Mindfulness for Self Compassion workshops) and provide routes to positively engage in society (eg Self Esteem and Effective Communication courses).

We will be running the following workshops and courses for the community. They are a mixture of face to face and online via zoom, and are available to adults over 18.

Wellbeing Courses (Online) – 8 sessions

Online via zoom, starting Weds 7 May (2-3.30pm). A gentle introduction to practical ways to support wellbeing. The topics covered are:

  • 5 ways to wellbeing and introduction to healthy eating
  • Food and mood
  • Healthy food preparation
  • Breathing and relaxation techniques
  • Chair based movement
  • Practices for good sleep hygiene
  • Journalling for wellbeing
  • Simple creativity for wellbeing and next steps
