Our Welfare Benefit Advice service

We provide information, advice and support to help individuals apply for entitled welfare benefits and provide representation at welfare benefits appeals, tribunals and revisions.

We provide a free and confidential service for people living in the London Borough of Enfield, that have been referred to us by a mental health professional or GP (referral Form).

We will:

Carry out benefit checks

Apply for appropriate benefits e.g. Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), Personal Independence Allowance (PIP) and Universal Credit

Attend Appeal Tribunals

Assist with Council Tax & Housing Benefit claims

Carry out casework

Liaise with Mental Health Professionals and DWP

Visit clients on wards at Chase Farm Hospital

If you are in hospital and would like some help and advice about welfare benefits, please let the ward staff or the MiE advocates know. You can contact us at 0208 906 7505. The Welfare Benefits Advisors also attend Chase Farm Hospital on Tuesday mornings.
