IAPT Compliant Counselling

We offer IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) compliant counselling to adults experiencing common mental health symptoms such as mild to moderate depression and anxiety.

Our IAPT compliant counselling service is accredited by the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and we abide by their high standards and follow the Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

What we offer?

Individual 1:1 sessions for an average of 8 weeks.

Your first contact will be an assessment which will take place within 10 days from your referral date and following this your sessions will start within 10-16 weeks.

Sessions last for 50 mins and take place at the same day and time every week.

Appointments are available Monday-Thursday and start at 10:00am every day; evening appointments are available until 20:00pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Our service is supported by volunteer counsellors and trainees in their final year of training; all of our counsellors are competent and trained in a number of modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, person-centred therapy, transpersonal therapy and integrative therapy. The therapy we offer is explorative and focused where goals are identified and explored through the course of therapy.
