Background

Mind In Enfield and Barnet (t/o £1.1million) is the local specialist mental health charity serving Enfield and Barnet. In April 2021, Mind In Barnet and Mind In Enfield merged to form our new organisation, meaning we have more than doubled in size and continue to grow. We are now able to offer local residents in each borough a stronger and more sustainable set of services. Mind In Enfield and Barnet combines over 50 years of experience to improve people’s mental health in Enfield, Barnet and beyond.

We are led by lived experience and driven by a passion to support and protect people’s mental health in ways that they, not the establishment, wants. We change people’s lives in the following ways through designing, developing, and delivering services that respond to mental health problems or prevent them from developing. We offer advice, support, information, therapy, and wellbeing services. We are a campaigning and influencing charity working with the NHS and local authorities to ensure action is taken to improve the design and delivery of services. Alongside our services in our communities, we provide services, training, and consultancy to organisations.

Following our merger, we are a fast growing and innovative team and organisation, striving to ensure we are a thought leader in our sector and ensuring we provide the best quality services to our communities. We have ambitious plans to develop more programmes and services for our communities and beyond. We are constantly looking to innovate and pilot new services, while working in partnership with other organisations.
